Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, October 30th, 2012 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Nellie Stamp, aged 98 years; beloved daughter of the late John Stamp and Norah (Bird) Stamp. Survived by her sisters: Rita Batterton of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home and Bernice (Stamp) Bishop; as well as her brothers: Cyril and Harold Stamp. Also, a circle of nieces and nephews. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
