Born in Malpeque, May 17, 1933, daughter of the late Milton and Bertha (MacIntyre) Woodside. Wife of the late Gordon B. Silliker. Mother of Preston (Nancy), Summerside; Marion (James) Rogers, Indian River; Gloria (Glenn) Pittman, Travellers Rest; Marie (Junior) Champion, Hamilton; Raymond (Wendy), Hamilton; Darlene (Arnold) Gallant, Summerside; Sheila (Kevin) Poirier, Travellers Rest, and Norman (Ambyr), Travellers Rest. Grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Sister of Barb (Edmund) Blacquiere. Half- sister of Jean Burt. Sister-in-law of Frances Woodside; Geraldine Harris; Elmer (the late Louise) Silliker; Calvin Silliker and Edna Silliker. Also survived by her Aunt Marion MacPhail and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Earle and Wendell Woodside, and Elmer, in infancy; sister, Marion (Charles) MacKenzie; niece, Judy Davis and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Empress (MacPhee) Silliker. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery Malpeque.
