Mosher: Stanley Ivan “Bud”, 86, of Truro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, in the Colchester Regional Hospital Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late George and Minnie (Crouse) Mosher. Stan was an Engineer for the CNR for 35 years. He was an instructor with the Cadets and also was involved with the North Shore and Valley Antique Gas and Tractor Clubs. He is survived by son, Mark (Susan) Mosher, Debert; brother, Karl Mosher, Debert; sister, Elaine (Gerald) Whitman, Shubenacadie; grandchildren, Josh (Heather), Natasha, Rob, Lisa; 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife the former Joyce McCully; daughter, Leah Ann; sister, Margaret. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Friday, November 2, 2012 and funeral service 2 pm Saturday, November 3, 2012, all in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro, Rev. Kym Burke-Cole officiating, with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Interment will then be held in the Middle Road Cemetery, Debert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society, IWK Health Science Center or to a charity of your choice.
