It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Snelgrove announce his passing on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 86th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 62 years Ina (nee Woodman); children: Carson (Catherine) of Baie Verte, Marina (Ian) Lake of St. John's, Linda Wall of Deer Lake; grandchildren: Kara (Gerry) Manuel of Pasadena, Nicole (Mike) Henley of Paradise, Steven (Crystal) Wall of Edmonton, Shane Snelgrove of Pasadena, Jennifer Wall of Edmonton and Allison Lake of St. John's; great-grandchildren: Nathan, Cameron, Mitchell, Kayla, Ayden, Thomas and Ethan. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. Roy was predeceased by his parents Hayward & Emily, parents-in-law Alfred & Ella Woodman, brothers Lloyd & Douglas, sisters Edna, Vina and Enid, brothers-in-law George Woodman, George Eddy and Clarence Peyton, sister-in-law Lottie Snelgrove. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from St. Pauls United Church with Rev. Dr. Tony Newell officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot on Wights Road. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Pauls United Church Fund.
