Passed peacefuuly away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on Sunday October 28,2012 Winnifred Grandy of Garnish in her 94th year.Predeceased by husband Jeffrey,baby son Gordon,parents Annie and Phillip Grandy,sister Florence,brothers Wilfed, and Thomas.Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Dora ( Guy)Moulton of Garnish,sons Carlson ( Stella ) of Garnish, Calvin ( Barbara) of Kentville Nova Scotia,five grandchildren and spouses,and four great grandchildren.Sisters Louise Cluett, Greta Hiscock of Garnish, and Gertrude Collins of Mount Pearl.Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Rick Marsh from Garnish United Church at 2pm on Tuesday, October 30th, 2012. Interment followed at Garnish United Church Cemetery. Organist was Lorraine May. Pall Bearers were: Dora Moulton, Carlson Grandy, Calvin Grandy, Sandy Moulton, Jeffrey Grandy & Darrell Hodder. Donations in her memory may be made to Blue Crest Nursing Home, or to Garnish United Church Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
