
Herman Allain
ALLAIN, HERMAN - 1938 - 2012 - Herman Allain, 74 of Cocagne, passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital University Center, Moncton on Wednesday, October 31st, 2012. He was married to Anne-Marie (Cormier) Allain. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Hector and the late Mélina (Arsenault) Allain. Herman was the owner and operator along with his wife, of the Allain Grocery Store in Saint-Thomas de Kent for several years. Herman will be sadly missed by his wife Anne-Marie, his three children; Linda Daigle (Kevin) of Moncton, Gérard (Michelle) of Cocagne and Serge (Nadine) of Moncton, and four grandchildren, Alex, Arielle, Emma and Dylan. He also leaves to mourn two sisters, Marie-Thérèse Savoie (Roger) of Bouctouche and Marguerite Beers (Roderick) of Minto and four brothers; Oscar, Jos (Antoinette), and André all of Cocagne, and Aubrey (late Denise) of Saint-Anselme, several nephews and nieces and cousins.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cocagne Church on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Herman’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation or to the Cocagne parish.
