It is with deep regret we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, poppy and brother George Patrick Hatfield who passed away on November 1st, 2012, age 65. Predeceased by parents Martin and Lucy Hatfield, mother & father-in-law Tom and Rose Puddicombe, brothers Harry and Martin Jr., sisters Florence Rickert and Margaret Carville (Bill, deceased). Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend Frances (Puddicombe); son Jeffery (Kimberley) and daughter Jennifer O’Brien (Darrell); his precious granddaughters Keira & Julia Hatfield and Nevaeh, Stacey & Sara O’Brien. Poppy was so proud of his girls. Also leaving his sister Sandra (Geoff Hendry), brothers and sisters-in-law: Doug Rickert, Lillian Hatfield, Rowena Hatfield, Leo Puddicombe (Debbie), Tom Puddicombe (Roxanne), Basil Puddicombe (Jeanie), Charlie Puddicombe (Marie), Danny Puddicombe (Marilyn), Rosemarie Pittman (Ian), Sadie Young (Keith), and Mary Puddicombe. George had many who were dear to his heart including the Dalton family, his hunting buddies and many family and friends who enjoyed his good humor. He always had a smile on his face, a story to share and a candy in his pocket to brighten your day. He will be missed. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday 7-9 p.m., Saturday 2-9 p.m., and Sunday 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday November 5th, 2012 at 10 a.m. from St. Kevin’s, Goulds with cremation to follow. Flowers greatly appreciated or donations may be made to St. Kevin’s Family Aid or a charity of one’s choice.
