MCBRIDE, ROSIE CECELIA - The passing of Rosie C. McBride of Islandview, NB occurred peacefully with her family by her side on November 2, 2012, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at New Ross, NS on August 28, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Maria (Sode) Lenehan. Rosie worked at the Chalmers hospital for thirty years. She is survived by her spouse, Eugene Charters; three daughters, Betty McBride, Fredericton, NB, Rose McBride, Burtts Corner, NB, Barbara Morehouse (Norwood), Keswick Ridge, NB; a son, Harry McBride (Darleen), Islandview, NB; six grandchildren, Darren, Brandon, Adrian, Alecia, Tania and Savannah; nine great grandchildren, Krissy, Brett, Daniel, Dominic, Maleiya, Hayden, Jessie, Colten and Nicky; two sisters, Maxine and Myrna, both of Nova Scotia; four brothers, Clyde (Darlene), Cecil (Carolyn), Johnny and Gerald (Paulette); a sister-in-law, Dorothy; longtime friends, Greta, Liz, Joan and Judy; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rosie was predeceased by her husband, Harry McBride Sr. and a brother, Lester.
Visiting hours will be held at the home of her daughter, Barbara and Norwood Morehouse, 1123 Route 616, Keswick Ridge, NB on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Church of Christ, Burtts Corner, NB on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Edward Guiggey officiating. Interment at Burtts Corner Cemetery. A reception will follow, back at the home of her daughter, Barbara and Norwood Morehouse. Pallbearers will be Kevin Cronkhite, Ira Brewer, Catlin Lawrence, Mike Yerxa, Mike Stapledon and Ivan Morehouse.
