Beloved wife, mother, sister and friend

Born in Toronto, studied and became a nurse and soon found her passion in the psychiatric profession. She traveled extensively to Greece and through South America.

She moved to Victoria to be closer to her sister Marilyn, where she met the love of her life, Bob. They married shortly after on September 30th, 1978. A year after, they were blessed with their first born, Tyler.

Robert, Sheryl and Tyler moved to Kamloops and bought a home where they completed their perfect family a few years later with Katreana. She continued to work in the psychiatric ward at Royal Inland until her retirement.

Her 2nd passion painting, exploded at this point and she filled their Westsyde home with art that will always be treasured.

While the last few years of her life were difficult, she faced every challenge head on with a strong belief, and her beautiful spirit always shone through.

Her valiant battle ended, while surrounded by her loving family. She will always be remembered as a mother to all.

We will miss you.

Sheryl is survived by her devoted husband Robert, loving children Tyler and Katreana, sister Marilyn (Jim), niece Sarah, brother-in-law Charles and brother John.

A small Service will be held at Schoenings Funeral Chapel, Monday, November 5th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Victor Gundel.
