Loving husband of Alice (nee McNutt) and the late Elva Ann Trainor. Dear father of Brian (Doreen), Morell; Herb (Donna), Toronto, Ont; Glen (Penny), Bangor; Lisa (David) Colson, Glace Bay, N.S.; Kent (Isabel), Crapaud and Scott, Charlottetown. Cherished grandfather of Kellsay, Justin, Sarah, Helen, Kyle, Shawnda, Annie, Rachel and Alasdair. Dear brother of Ben Compton, Pennsylvania, U.S.; Flo Cobb, Montague; Patricia Hayman, Charlottetown, and Mary Cormier, Vancouver. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Lloyd, John, Art and George and by his sisters, Emma and Jean. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home, from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Bangor Cemetery.
