Nellie Brown
BROWN, NELLIE - Nellie Olivia Iona Brown, 83, of Kinnear Settlement, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Dorchester Cape, she was a daughter of the late Alton and Burma (Buck) Read. Nellie was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother. She attended the former St. Paul's Anglican Church and was an ACW member. She was also a past member of the Ladies Auxillary, Havelock Legion Branch #86. Nellie is survived and sadly missed by her children Bonnie Rae Macaulay (Wayne) of River Glade, Burma Limoges (Mike) of Moncton, Margaret Mann (Gordie) of Kinnear Settlement, Joan Adair (Brian) of Moncton, John (Darlene) of Petitcodiac, Iona McCully (Mike) of Petitcodiac and Michael (Connie) of Boundary Creek; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters Margaret Johnson and Edith Colp (Gary) both of Dorchester and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Thomas (1969); sisters Eileen and Madeline and brothers Laurie, Ainsley, Lester and Alton Jr.
Family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, November 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. only at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800). There is no funeral by request. A family graveside service will be held at Fairhaven Cemetery with Rev. Chris Hayes officiating.
