It is with great sadness that the family of the late MADELINE POWER of Spanish Room, NL, announces her passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the age of 88. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are 2 Sons: Edward (Alavena) of Spanish Room and Patrick (Dorothy) of Spanish Room; 5 Grandchildren – Dwayne, Dean, Sherman, Sherri and Lisa; 6 Great-Grandchildren – Michael, Carter, Luke, Kristen, Kylie and Brooklyn; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Luke, Son Gerald, Parents – Nicholas & Mary Withers.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Saturday, November 10th, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. Interment followed at the St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Cemetery in Spanish Room. In Madeline’s memory donations may be made to the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre or flowers gratefully accepted.
