FORD, BRENDA JACOBSON - 1921-2012 - Brenda Ford of Riverview, originally of Stoney Creek, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Grass’s Nursing Home. Brenda was born in Moose Jaw, SK, in 1921. She studied at The Royal Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing in Montreal where she later graduated from in 1940. In 1955 she and her husband, the late James A. Ford, moved to Stoney Creek and developed their own tree farm called Coppastiona. Brenda was a very active member of Forestry NB, a former member of Rotary International and attended St. George’s Anglican Church in Moncton. She will be dearly missed by her special friends, Sherry and Grant O’Connor.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview, (869-2007). There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held from St. George’s Anglican Church on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 2pm with Rev. Chris VanBuskirk officiating.
