GAGNON, HENRY - 1941 - 2012 - MacDougall Settlement – Henry Gagnon, 71, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, November 16, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Born in MacDougall Sett, NB on September 5, 1941, he was the son of the late Albertine Gagnon; his adoptive parents, late Edmond and Livonie (Cormier) Gagnon. Henry was a huge fan of the Wildcats. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Marie-May; his three sons, Pierre of MacDougall Sett, Roland (Renée) and Martin (Sylvia) both of St-Antoine; his daughter, Monique Maillet (Raymond) of Moncton; his sister, Elodie Gautreau (late Alyre) of Dieppe; his sister-in-law, Ella Gagnon of Moncton; his half-brother, Ovila Bourque of St-Antoine; three grandchildren, Mathieu, Madison and Ziva; also by several nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by three brothers, Delphis, Zephyr and Elisban; one sister, Stella; his half-brother, Roger; his half-sister, Jeannette.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, November 20th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, November 21st from 9:30 to 10:15. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Wednesday, November 21st, at 11:00. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Dr. Georges L.
