GOODIN, LAURIE JOHN - 1947 - 2012 - Laurie Goodin of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, November 19, 2012. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John and Beatrice Goodin (LeBlanc). Laurie was a taxi driver in Moncton for over 30 years. He loved playing pool, listening to country music, was a former member of the Moncton Dart Club and was an avid animal lover. He will be dearly missed by his partner and special friend, Winnie Wortman, his former wife and best friend, Carol Goodin, sister Joan Goodin (Roger Girouard) of Moncton; brother, Ron (Gates) of Welland, ON; aunt Imelda LeBlanc of Moncton; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Laurie was predeceased by his brother, Donald, and sister, Cheryl.
There will be no public visitation. The funeral service will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 1 pm with Rev. Brent Ham officiating.
