It is with great sadness that the family of the late MANSFIELD G. MATTERFACE of Fortune, NL announces his passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the age of 66. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Loretta of 44 years; Father Gerald Matterface of Grand Bank; Special Niece Pam Way (Claude) of Ottawa; Sisters Grace Smith (George Layte), Joan (Fred) Forsey, and Mae Cake (Russell Ayres); Brother Almon Matterface (Alice Green); Sister-in-law Doris Matterface; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Mother Margaret Matterface and Brothers Aubrey & Morley Matterface.

The Funeral Service took place on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at 2:00pm from Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Fortune. Interment followed at the Most Holy Rosary R.C. Cemetery in Point May. In Mansfield’s memory donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
