McKNIGHT, LESLIE - It is with great sadness, the family announces the unexpected passing of Leslie George McKnight, husband of Mary (Hutchings) McKnight of Hatfield Point, NB, on Thursday, November 22, 2012, at his residence. Les was born on January 14, 1940, at The Grant, NB, the son of the late George & Jean (Scribner) McKnight. Les is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Mary; sons Rick and Krista McKnight and their children Natasha & Chantal of Kars, NB and Randy & Roxanne McKnight and their children Ryan, Ramsey and Rhea of Norton, NB and several cousins. Les was predeceased by his daughter Catherine McKnight.
He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Saturday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Les's life, conducted by Rev. Fred Wickett and Charles Kennedy, will be held from Outreach Pentecostal Church at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
