COLLETTE, HÉLÈNE (1925 – 2012) Hélène Collette, 87 of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Thursday November 22, 2012 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent. She was married to the late Ferdinand (Fred) Collette. Born in Saint-Maurice, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Azélie (LeBlanc) McDonald. Hélène will be sadly missed by her four children Anne-Marie Lombardi (Tony) of Chelmsford, Linda Gillis (Vinny) of New Ipswich, NH, Normand (Rose-Mai) of Sainte-Anne de Kent and Bernie of Bouctouche, her eight grandchildren; Melissa, Charline, Angela, Fred, André, Vinny Jr., Lynne and John, and two great grandchildren, Anthony and Athena, and her former daughter-in-law Maria Collette of Sainte-Anne de Kent. She also leaves to mourn two sisters, Aline Melanson of Moncton and Jeannita Cormier of Bouctouche, two brothers; Ronald (Jeannita) of Bouctouche and Danny (Jeanne) of Cocagne and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one grandson Anthony, two granddaughters, Anne-Marie and Louise, two sisters, Edna and Bessie and five brothers, Emery, Roger, Camille, Johnny and Michael. Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Sunday November 25th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday November 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Hélène’s memory donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
