Émilis "Emily" Arsenault

ARSENAULT, ÉMILIS "EMILY" - It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Émilis "Emily" Arsenault, 71, of Moncton, on Friday, November 23, 2012 at The Moncton Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born July 29, 1941 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of Alphonse Vautour and the late Marie Porelle. Émilis was a great lady with a good sense of humor and would easily make friends with everyone she met. The love of her life was her two children and grand children. She had many accomplishments that she was proud of and one was completing her professional cooking certification while she resided in Summerside, PEI. She worked in restaurants in Moncton; one being at Cy’s and also loved to make wedding cakes for family members. She also enjoyed her career at la Residence Adventure in Dieppe, where she gave the utmost care to her patients, which came natural to her. She was a very loving and compassionate person. Besides her father, Emily is survived by her two wonderful children; Michael (Connie) LeBlanc and Gisele (George) Delaney all of Moncton; a grand-daughter, Amy (Ken Rodriguez); a great-granddaughter, Kallie and a great-grandson, Anton; three sisters: Alphonsine Poirier (Bernard) of Grande-Digue, Joanne Richard (Maurice) of Petit-Cap, Monique (Andrew Jennings) of Shediac; four brothers: Harvey and Roger (Maria LeBlanc) of Shediac, Omer of Kelowna, BC, and Danny (Nicole Briand) of St-Antoine; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette’s Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Tuesday November 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton, on Wednesday, November 28 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Cap-Pelé. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital, The Dr. Georges-L.
