STEELE, NANCY - Nancy Elizabeth Steele, 91, of Indian Point, Mahone Bay, N.S. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, daughter of the late Frank and Madeline McDonald. She passed away November 21, 2012. She enjoyed reading, playing golf, curling, playing and teaching bridge, weaving and spending time with her loving family. She is survived by daughters Sally Steele and Diana Steele; daughter-in-law Eileen (Langille) Steele; grand children Simon Hatherley, Tanya (Hatherley) Siepiela (Andrew), Heather (Steele) Campbell (John) and David Steele (Carolyn); great-grand-children Taylor and Trysten Olson, Rowan Hatherley, and Tanner and Landon Steele and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Richard Miles Steele; her son, Richard Arthur Steele; her sister Margaret "Peggy" Pickersgill and brother, Arthur McDonald.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Bridgewater followed by a reception at a location to be announced following the service. Burial will take place at a later date in Kingston, N.B. Those wishing to make a donation in Nancy's memory may do so to a charity of your choice. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Cedarstone Enhanced Care Facility in Truro, N.S. for their loving care.
