Passed peacefully away after a brief but courageous battle at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of his loving family, November 23, 2012. Edward Dawe, aged 68 years. Left with fond and cherished memories, his devoted wife of 48 years, Joyce (nee Anthony); sons: Tom (Nancy), Steve “Boyd” (Lori Ann) and Chris (Stephanie); the light of his life, grandchildren: Chloe and Jack; and little buddy, Cop Cop. Also leaving to mourn, his brothers: Herb (Frances), Reg (Mary) and Hubert (Martha); Aunt Eva (Graham) and their children, Donna (Rolf) and Robert, Uncle Melvin (Millie) and Aunt Evelyn; Sisters-In-Law: Harriet (Frank), Violet (Max) and Cynthia; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Visitation and Reception Centre, 1045 Topsail Road, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Peter’s Church, Upper Gullies on Tuesday November 27, 2012 at 11:00 am with interment to follow in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery.
