The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, of Myrtle Campbell of Summerside, aged 80 years, beloved wife of Eric Campbell. Myrtle was born in Long River on Oct. 19, 1932, daughter of the late Edwin and Marion (Corbett) Bernard. Dear mother of the Honorable Justice Diane Campbell, Derill, Patricia (David) Champion, Helen (Don) Steedman, Kathy, Marilyn (Chris) Webb, Dean (Ann), Kim (Russell) Williams, Terry and Gregory. Grandmother to Brooke Champion, Jason Campbell, Jayne Campbell, Jenelle Merkley, Shelby Merkley, Spencer Campbell, Jenny Campbell, Reighn Williams, Trinity Williams, Savaughn Hamilton and Kaylee Campbell. Sister of Marcella Cormier, Evelyn Beverwyk and Alvin (Irene) Bernard. Sister-in-law of Norma (Scotty) McAskill. Also survived by special companion Rebel. Predeceased by sister Sylvie Bernard and brother Ralph Bernard. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
