The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, of Joseph William “Bill” Donald Peters of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche, aged 70 years. Bill was born on Oct. 3, 1942, in Summerside, to his late parents Maxime and Fannie (nee Wright) Peters Goss. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Arp; loving father of Shelley (Barry) Alyea of Woodstock, Ont., and Jacquelyn Peters (Andrew Arsenault) of Deep River, Ont.; stepfather of Vicki Arp (Terry MacFadyen) of Inverness, and Christa Phillips (Jay) of Lafayette, Indiana. Also lovingly remembered by his son-in-law Darren Wallace of Woodstock, Ont., his brothers David Peters andJimmy (Patsy) Peters, his sisters Theresa (Urie) Blacquiere and Helen Ramsay, his brother-in-law Chuck Arp and family and his nine special grandchildren:Kirsten, Jessica, Ty Alyea, Jakeb and Caden Wallace, Drew Gallant, MacKenzie, Jacob and Gabe Phillips. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his daughter Jodie Lee (Peters) Wallace, his sisters Emily, Shirley and Irene and brothers Robert, Freddie and Jackie. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lupus Society would be greatly appreciated and may be given to the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.
