It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eldon Gilbert announces his passing on Monday, November 26th, 2012 from his family residence in Cormack at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Donna Campbell, children: Terri Gilbert (Neville Brake); Deer Lake, Kathy Gilbert (Craig Young); Kamloops BC, Darren (Karin) Gilbert; Cochrane Alberta, David; Fort McMurray Alberta, Darrell (Crystal Young); Deer Lake, Danny (Mary Lou Marcotte); Fort McMurray, Alberta, step sons: Dwayne (Shona) Campbell; Deer Lake, Daren (Kim) Simmons, Nova Scotia, grandchildren: Tyler, Cody, Devon, Chelsey, Colton, Kirklin, Diana, Nicholas, Caden, Mason, Abbey, Riley, Kyle, Kenna, Dylan, step grandchildren: Stacie, Taylor, Jessie, Sierra, Scott, Jonah, sisters and brothers: Audrey (Terry) Caravan; Deer Lake, Fraser; Vancouver, Una Pye; Deer Lake, father in law Bert Simmons, special friends Fred and Donna Laing and a large circle of in laws, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Dianne Campbell – Gilbert, parents Herb and Masie Gilbert, brother-in-law Len Pye, mothers-in-law Beatrice Campbell and Bonnie Simmons, sister-in-law Glenys Tibble and brother-in-law Wayne Campbell. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Thursday, November 29th from 2-4 and 7-9PM, the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 30th from the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake at 2 PM with Majors Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating.
