DORE, DONNA GRACE - Donna G. Dore of Southampton, NB passed away suddenly on November 29, 2012 at her home. Born at Woodstock, NB in 1948, she was a daughter of the late William and Shirley (Tompkins) Hudson. Donna was a member of the Women's Institute. She was a founding member of the Southampton Community Hall and was a great community supporter. She enjoyed many trips with her husband and friends. Donna was strongly dedicated to her family. She loved and adored all of her grandchildren. She spent much of her time with them, and was a strong support to her entire family. Donna is survived by her husband of 43 years, Maurice Dore; three sons, Chris Dore (Andrea), Shawn Dore (Arlene) and Ryan Dore (Tricia), all of Southampton, NB; five grandchildren, Hannah, Connor, Peyton, Sophia and Brayden; a brother, Ellis Hudson (Sandra), Woodstock, NB and a sister, Doreen MacLean, Temperance Vale, NB; aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Albert MacLean.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bob Johnson officiating. Interment at Lenentine Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin MacLean, Jason Hudson, Arlie Hawkes and Curtis Grant. Active pallbearers will be Tony Hawkes, Ivan Tompkins, Wilmot Tompkins, Robert Tompkins, Stephen Tompkins and Keith Mean.
