VALLIS, WILLIAM - The death of William Vallis of Oromocto occurred on November 30th, 2012 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born April 2nd, 1941 in Regina, SK, he was the son of the late Albert and Katie Vallis. He is survived by his spouse, Joyce Todd; his sons, Courtland "Bruce" Vallis (Lori-Anne Hudson) of Cincinnati, OH, Mark Thomas Vallis of Springfield, NB, Shawn Gordon Pierce of Orangeville, ON and Cory Scott Pierce of Springfield, NB; three grandchildren, Ben, Emily and Michael Vallis and his nieces and nephews, Jim, Ted, Sherri, Rod, Jeff, Darcy and Tammy. He was predeceased by his parents and three siblings, George, Robert and Pearl. William loved working and the people he dealt with at Kimberly-Clark. He excelled at his job in operations and planning before retiring as the plant manager in Huntsville, ON in 1996 after 34 years. He loved his horses and pets, playing bridge and had adopted doctrines of Christianity into his personal life. He will be greatly missed.
A reception will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, December 9th, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm with scriptures being read at 2:30 pm. For those who wish, donations made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.oromoctofh.com (357-5100)
