
Taylor Chesnutt

(Dec. 26, 1995 – Nov. 28, 2012) – It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our precious son and brother, Taylor James Chesnutt, on November 28, 2012 at the ICU of the Health Sciences Centre, in the presence of his loving family, at the young tender age of 16 years. He will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his loving and devoted parents Elizabeth (Barnett) and Kelly Chesnutt, and his adoring brother and friend Cody; as well as his loving grandmother Ellen Barnett; aunts: Mary Maher (Jack), Geraldine Fulford (Wayne), Angela Barnett; uncles: Joe Barnett (Louise), Bill Barnett (Pat), George Chesnutt (Kathy), Mike Chesnutt (Ess), Bob Chesnutt (Janie), Johnny Chesnutt (Mary); special lifelong friends that he adored: Brandon J., Nick, Mac, Riley and Brandon L.; all his teachers, friends and classmates at Mount Pearl Senior High, and his co-workers at Sobeys and Dominion. He is predeceased by a large circle of family members especially grandparents John Barnett Sr., Lloyd and Isabel Chesnutt of Nova Scotia and aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention. Taylor’s family would like to deeply thank the truly wonderful and caring staff of the ICU at the HSC for their compassion, dedication, support and exceptional care of our darling son. Taylor will be resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Sunday, December 2nd from 1-9 p.m. and again on Monday, December 3rd from 1-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass celebrating Taylor’s life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4th at St. Peter’s Parish, Ashford Drive, Mount Pearl. Taylor will be forever remembered for his kindness, gentleness and great sense of humour.
