Frances Sutton, age 98 of Millsboro, DE formerly of New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her home. She was the last leaf of the branch on the Conway family tree.
Frances was born in Pleasantville, NJ on October 23, 1914 daughter of the late John James Conway (1883-1951) and Elizabeth Frances (Jones) Conway (1884-1954). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Sutton (1910-1984) four siblings, Anna M. Brown (1906-1995), Margaret Ketschek (1908-1986), Elizabeth Dougherty (1911-1978) and John Conway (1917-1997).
She is survived by a son James Sutton and his wife Velma of Nova Scotia, Canada; 4 grandchildren, James Roger Sutton, Hope Elizabeth Workman, Christine Ella Sutton and Jill Frances Sutton all of Canada; 8 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and a special nieces, Betty Ann McMann for her love and devotion to the end.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Zion Cemetery, 652 Zion Rd., Bargaintown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Frances’ name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
