
S. Carol Alexander
ALEXANDER, S. CAROL - Surrounded by her loving family and with great sadness, we announce the passing of S. Carol Alexander of Fredericton, on December 3, 2012 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton on May 5, 1949, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Mary (Aiton) McElman. Carol was a member of Gibson Memorial United Church, and employed as Administrative Support Officer in the Real Estate Industry for 30 years and finishing her career, retiring from the Stan Cassidy Rehabilitation Centre. She is survived by her loving husband Wayne Alexander; two daughters Janet Boone (Jordon) and Lesley Alexander (Brent Thomas); two granddaughters Vanessa and Bridgitte Boone; a sister Ann VanWart (Alan) all of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews; as well as a sister-in-law Connie McElmon. Predeceased by a brother Clyde McElman.
As per Carol’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at Gibson Memorial United Church on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Cora Krommenhoek officiating. Private interment to take place in the Sunny Bank Cemetery. No flowers by request, memorials may be made to the Gibson United Church Living Memorial Fund or the Stan Cassidy Rehabilitation Centre. A reception will be held in the Church Hall immediately following the service.
