McLAUGHLIN, VALERIA - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, December 4, 2012, Mrs. Valeria McLaughlin of Ortonville passed away at the age of 71 years. She was the wife of Roy McLaughlin. Born at Grand Falls in 1941, she was the daughter of the late Willard Kitchener and Mabel (Gallagher) Watson. Mrs. McLaughlin was a retired school teacher. She is survived by her husband, three children, Kevin (Shawna) of Ortonville, Darren (Lynn) of Drummond and Paula Gura (Chris) of Limestone, Maine, seven grandchildren, Emma, Caroline, Olivia, Andrew, Rebecca, Allyson and Sydney, one great granddaughter, Tessa, one grandchild on the way, one brother, Leslie Watson (Cheryl) of Pembroke, Ontario, nieces and nephews.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Friday, December 7th at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. Harold Sparkes and Rev. Fred Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Ortonville Baptist Cemetery.
