McDade, Janice Ann, 54, Truro, passed away peacefully December 5, 2012 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of Gerald and Eudora (Peppard) McDade. Janice spent much of her life as a Residential Group Home Supervisor in Halifax, Newfoundland and later Truro. She spent the last two decades battling Multiple Sclerosis. Besides her parents she is survived by sister, Heather (Paul) Tufts; nephew Christopher, all of Onslow. Cremation has taken place. At her request there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Colchester SPCA.
