GRASSE, MERVA LEOTA - The passing of Merva Leota Grasse of Geary, NB, occurred on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, she was 71. Born in Priceville, NB she is the daughter of the late Magnus Price and Mabel (Munn). Pentecostal by faith, Merva retired from having worked many years as the Custodian at the Geary Elementary School. Survived by one son Ronald Grasse (Heather) of Geary, NB, four brothers; Spencer Price (Bonnie) of Priceville, NB, Wavel Price (Ruth) of Priceville, NB, James Price (Ruth) Priceville, NB, Lorne Price of Newcastle, NB, three sisters Lyla Percy (Don) of Ontario, Sharon Clowater (Norman) of Ludlow and Esther Gallivan (Charlie) of Fredericton, two grandchildren Dustin and Amber Grasse, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Phillip Grasse and a sister Norma O’Donnell.
Resting at the Geary United Pentecostal Church, where visitation will take place on Friday, December 7th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 8th at 11AM from the same location with Rev. Robert Foster officiating, assisted by Rev Mark Noel. Interment will take place in the Geary French Lake Waterville Cemetery in the spring.
