Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving families Georgina Myra Major on Tuesday, December 4th, 2012, at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Victor; sons: Paul (Irene); their children: Jr, Nichole and grandson Dominic, of Fort McMurray, AB, Greg (Monique); their children: Jason & Austin, of Norris Pt.; daughter Beverley (Sean) Sampson; their children: Scott, William, Cody and Jamie of Brampton, Ontario; also special people in Georgina’s life; Andrew & Adam Reid, of Norris Pt. and Cathy & Brooklyn Organ of Fort McMurray, AB; her brothers: John (Evelyn), Charles (Nora), George (Rosalie); her sisters: Mildred (Allan) Schneider, Dora (Hubert) Banfield; in laws: Lloyd (Joyce) Major, Tom (Christine) Major, Cleo (Sandra) Major, Mary Harding, Linda (Wilson) Janes, Ella (Grant) Payne and Cynthia (Warren) Roberts. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Georgina was predeceased by her parents; Ivy & John Perham, sister Carolyn Bowering, brothers-in-law: George Bond & Fred Harding and her in laws; Alma & Wallace Major. The family will be receiving family and friends at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, in Norris Pt., today Thursday, December 6th, 2012, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday, December 7th, 2012, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Louise Richards officiating. Cremation will follow at Georgina's request. Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, in Norris Pt., in Georgina's memory and would be graciously appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
