LEGERE, EARL - Earl Legere of Athol, Mass. passed away on Tuesday, November 27th, 2012 after a short illness at Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville, Florida. He was born in Joggins, N.S. on April 29th, 1925, the son of Dosithe and Phoebe (Bourgeois). He is survived by his wife Margaret (Oke) of 66 years, two sons, Michael and James of Fitchburg, Mass., three daughters, Peggy Therrien of North Port, Fl., Elizabeth Luchford and Karen Kelly of Templeton, Mass., fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Don (Toni) of Fitchburg, Mass. and Jack (Marilyn) of Miramichi; two sisters Shirley Clements (late Elie) of Springhill, N.S. and Judy Bavis (Kirk) of St. Edouard, N.B. Predeceased by brothers Douglas, Lloyd and William. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place in Athol, Mass. at a future date.
