LeBLANC, Corinne Emilie – 78, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 21, 1934 in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Baromé and Emilie (DeViller) LeBlanc. Corinne worked at Creasers in Yarmouth for many years. She was heavily involved in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 61, Yarmouth, where she had served as Secretary. She was also a Past President of the Branch No. 61 Ladies Auxiliary, having also sang in the Legion choir and volunteered with the Legion bingo. Corinne was also a member of the Navy League of Canada and the Dart League. She is survived by her children, Pam LeBlanc (Ed Wry), Dayton, and Kevin LeBlanc (Tina Nickerson), Chegoggin; grandchildren, Stuart, Steven, Jordan, Jennifer and Chad, as well as a great grandson, Kiedan. She is also survived by sisters, Antoinette Muise, Yarmouth and Beulah Robicheau, Meteghan. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her common-law husband, Walter Sisco, as well as by a sister, Roseanne Fournier, and brothers, Levi LeBlanc, Everett LeBlanc and Israel LeBlanc. Cremation has taken place. The family received visitors from 9:30 until the beginning of the memorial service, which was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 3, immediately followed by a Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary Service, all at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth.
