MacNab, David Alexander, 64, Truro, passed away Tuesday December 4, 2012 in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Tatamagouche, he was a son of the late Laurie and Geraldine (Hughes) MacNab. David was an electrician having worked in different places. He was a member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Unit 625. David had a love for gardening, wood chipping and also animals.
He is survived by sons Gerald of Truro, Jason of Oshawa, ON, Brett of British Columbia; daughters Kelly and Tori both of British Columbia; 2 grandchildren; brother Jackie (Hanna) of Austria; sisters Debbie Boomer (Eric) of East Mountain, Lori McKay (Terry) of Porter’s Lake; step-mother Elizabeth “Betty” MacNab.
Besides his parents, David was predeceased by, a grandson and a sister Betty MacNabb.
A Celebration of David’s Life will take place on Saturday, December 15th from 2-4 pm in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Donations in David’s memory may be made to the Hospice Society, 9 Spring Street, Bedford, NS B4A 1Y4 or to the Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital Nursing Unit.
