Edithanne Calder

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at the age of 71.
Edithanne is survived by her husband of 49 years, Peter; children, Carroll, Petrina, and Peter (Jen), grandchildren Christopher (Donna), Jason, Emilea, and Bonnie Edith Anne ‘Bea’. Dear sister of Carolee (Wayne), Agatha, Irwin, and Gordon (Pauline), she is lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her close friends from St. Joseph’s Parish, Movement Options, bridge, golf, and bowling, among others.
Edithanne was predeceased by her parents, Duncan and Mary MacMaster, as well as a number of siblings.
Memorial visitation will be held at James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston, Ont,) on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the memorial service to follow in the chapel at 11 a.m., Monsignor Lynch will officiate; with reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Pancreatic Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.
Edithanne was a Registered Nurse, who graduated at the top of her class in 1963 from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Glace Bay, N.S.
