
Elizabeth Louise (Beth) Carter
Peacefully in the presence of her loving family at Prince County Hospital in Summerside, P.E.I., on Sunday, December 9, 2012, Beth, beloved wife of 47 years to Ian, and cherished mother of Lisa and Cindy, mother-in-law to Chris, Nannie B to Luke and Lexi, and sister-in-law of Cecelia Carter-Smith.
Beth was a graduate of the Hospital for Sick Children School of Nursing, York University and the University of Toronto, and a retired educator with the Halton District School Board. She has left her family a legacy of love and devotion for which she will always be remembered.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the many good and faithful friends and neighbours who have eased our way during the past year. Special thanks to Dr. Jonathan Sharpe, Dr. Philip Champion and the Palliative Care staff at PCH for their compassionate and diligent care.
Visitation on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. A Service to Celebrate Beth's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Spring Brook, with reception to follow in the church hall.
