Elsie (Louise) Tucker (nee Way)

Passed peacefully away and into the arms of her Lord and Saviour on December 9, 2012 at the age of 76 years, after a very long and courageous fight with Leukemia. Predeceased by her father Frederick Way, her mother Elizabeth Way, her father and mother-in-law William H. Tucker and I. Florence Tucker and brother-in-law William Earle. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Albert, and will be sadly missed by her children, son Byron, daughters Juanita Peach (Berk), Paula Hogan and Lorraine Tucker, and her cherished grandchildren who were dear to her heart, Blaine Peach (Amanda Burry), Christian Hogan (Emma Dooley), James Hogan (and their father Derm Hogan). Also left to mourn are her sisters in Hamilton, Ont., Jessie Earle and Joyce Chapman (Joe), her sisters-in-law, Irene Tucker and Carrie Martin (Fred), Uncle Thomas Oliver (Lynette), Sydney, BC. Louise will be forever missed by her dear and wonderful true friend, who cared and nursed for her during her last months, June Ramsay, PEI, a lifetime neighbour friend and mentor, Frances Rideout, many nieces and nephews, extended family and many dear friends and very close neighbours that are too many to mention. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, December 12, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from Gospel Hall Cemetery in Burnt Point, CBN. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Burnt Point. Special thanks to Drs.
