It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend Kenneth Daniel Gouthro on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, he was a son of Gordon and Rosalie (Brewer) Gouthro.
Kenny was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Glace Bay and a former member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 78, Dominion.
For the past four years, Kenny was employed with Dexter Construction as a flagger.
He was known for his caring and fun-loving personality and had a keen interest in skidoos and motorcycles. Kenny was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, whether it be family or friend. He also had a large place in his heart for longtime family pets Jake the dog and Geeves the cat.
But Kenny's real love and devotion was dedicated to his family. He loved them unconditionally and looked on with pride in everything they did. He truly was an excellent husband and father.
Besides his parents, Kenny is survived by wife, the former Kimberly Hall; daughter, Kendra; son, Kirklind; brother, Elliott (Shirley Picco), Cambridge, Ont.; sisters, Ramona Gouthro (Freddie Campbell), Glace Bay, Consuello (Jamie) Andrews, Cambridge, Ont.; brother-in-law, Robert (Shauna) Hall, Hamilton, Ont.; sister-in-law, Jodi (Shane) Parsons, Glace Bay; mother-in-law, Pasty Hall; numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenny was predeceased by infant brother, Adrian Gouthro; maternal grandparents, George and Betty Brewer; paternal grandparents, John Joe and Elizabeth Gouthro; father-in-law, Bobby Hall.
