DAIGLE, GEORGE - (1932-2012) - LAKETON, NB - George Daigle, 80, of Laketon passed away peacefully at La Villa Providence in Shediac on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Born in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Edmond Daigle and late Gertrude (Holland) Daigle. Before retiring, George was employed as a woodsman. George will be sadly missed by his two daughters; Gertrude Albert (Normand) of Edmundston, Rose-Marie Vautour (Blair) of Richibucto, one son; Vincent Daigle (Renée) of Laketon, four grandchildren; Diane Albert-Thibeault (Philippe) of Rimouski PQ., Nathalie Vautour of Bouctouche, Mélanie Vautour of Richibucto, Stéphanie Daigle of Laketon and one special granddaughter; Arielle Thibeault. George is also survived by two brothers; Merlin Holland of Ontario, Vince Holland of Miramichi, half- brother; Ronald Daigle (Dora) of St-Ignace, three half- sisters; Geneva Daigle (Martin) of Miramichi, Linda Daigle (Jean) of St. Charles, Stella Daigle of Richibucto and also several nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents, his wife; Robéa (Vautour) Daigle, one son; Vincent Daigle and one half-brother; Eldon Daigle.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Thursday, from 6:00 to 7:00pm (for family only) and 7:00 to 9:00pm (for public). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 14th, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Saint Louis de Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de- Kent.
