The death occurred peacefully on Monday, December 10, 2012, at the
Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary of Hazel "Ruth"
MacKendrick, age 50 years. Ruth was born on March 5, 1962, the beloved daughter of Glendon and Elaine (Shaw) MacKendrick of Campbellton. Dear sister to Cindy MacKendrick (Mario Fiset), Summerside and Bill (Geri) MacKendrick, Cape Wolfe. She will also be fondly remembered by special friend, David Smith, aunts, uncles, Fenton (Hazel) Shaw, Wendell (Jean) Shaw, Allan (Wendy) Shaw, as well as cousins, a step-niece, a step-nephew, and many friends. Ruth was predeceased by her grandparents, Kenneth and Margaret (Smallman) MacKendrick and Robert and Ada (Thomson) Shaw. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 4pm.
In memory of Ruth, memorials to the Lymphoma Foundation of Canada or the Prince County Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated.
