Peacefully at the IWK Hospital on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, cherished infant daughter of Craig and Michele (MacDonald) and sister of Kennedy and Sidney, of Wheatley River. Granddaughter of Melvin and Debbie Ling, Wheatley River, Charlene Carriere, Charlottetown, and Kevin MacDonald (Bonnie), Covehead. Ashlyn is also survived by her great-grandparents, Reta Ling, Roma MacLeod, Ray and Edna Carriere and Jack and Shirley Andrews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ashlyn will be met in Heaven by her great-grandfathers, Leonard Ling, Claude MacLeod and Keir MacDonald. For the short time she was with us she touched so many hearts. We were blessed to have her and she will never be forgotten. Private family service will be held on Friday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow.
