Winnifred Mae Brown (Murray), 81, passed away December 12, 2012 at the Maritime Oddfellows Home in Pictou.
Born in Avondale on January 5, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John Fred and Ella Murray.
Mae lived in the Maritime Oddfellows Home after living in Avondale and Pictou. She liked the activities there, especially the Church and Song Services. She was the last member of her immediate family.
She is survived by sister-in law Mary Murray and a number of nieces and nephews
Mae was predeceased by her husband Lester, sisters Jean Murray and Charlotte Robinson; brothers, Jim and Grant Murray; brother-in-law Herbert Robinson and sister-in-law Jean Murray (Jim).
Visitation will be Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the Maritime Oddfellows Home, Pictou where her funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock with Rev. Amanda Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Bellevue Cemetery in River John. Donations can be made to the Maritime Oddfellows Home in Pictou.
