Muriel Trenholm
TRENHOLM, MURIEL G. - Muriel G. Trenholm, 91, of ProTem Health Services, Moncton and formerly of Harrisville, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, December 13, 2012. Born in Upper Cape, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Vesta (Johnston) Raworth. Muriel was a former stenographer, retired from the Moncton Board of Brokers. She was a life member of the Harrisville United Protestant Church, life member of the UPCW, former member of the Church choir, former Sunday School teacher, former member of the Harrisville Ladies Auxilliary and former member of the Toastmistress Club. She enjoyed quilting, spending time at the family cottage (Johnson’s Point), socializing with her friends and spending precious time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Muriel will be sadly missed by her daughter, Janice Deroche (Reg) of Lakeville, Westmorland Co.; sons, Keith (Sharon) of Riverview, Eilson (Anne) of Lakeville, Westmorland Co., James (Elaine) of Ottawa; precious grandchildren, Sherri Trenholm, Dr. Andrew Trenholm (Helena), Heather Malco (Julius), Catherine Sargefield (Jeremy), Tamatha Trenholm, Karen Trenholm (Darrell Morgan), Sabrina Anderson (Douglas), Sheena MacDonald (David) and Kelly Trenholm; cherished great grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Cameron, Claire, Carter, Ocean, Summer, Rebecca and Abby; sister, Sandra Jones (Allan) of Riverview; brother-in-law, Russell Smith of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ivan E. Trenholm (1995); infant daughter, Lynne Ruth (1959); daughter-in-law, Linda Trenholm (2003); sisters, Betty, Joan and Eileen. Special thanks to the management and staff of ProTem Health Services for the love and care shown to our mother during her stay.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11:00 am, Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
