The death occurred peacefully at Mount Sinai Palliative Care Hospital in Montreal, Quebec on December 3, 2012 of Donald Joseph Gaudet, Montreal and formerly of Tignish Shore, aged 66. Born in Tignish Shore on August 16, 1946, he was the son of Eva (Myers) Gaudet, Charlottetown and the late Clifford Gaudet. Special partner to Pierre Rochfort, Montreal. Survived by his brothers Alan (Marlene) Alberton, Rodney (Lois) Kildare, Rick (Twila) Nova Scotia and his sisters Sharon (Paul) Shea of Norway, Ivy (Steve) Band of Stratford and Lorna (Dean) Vanderkaay of Stratford. Also lovingly remembered by his uncle, Arnie Gaudet of Tignish and his aunts Renee Roberge of Ottawa, Ada Perry of St Louis PE and Julia Bell of Charlottetown. Also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St Simon & St Jude Roman Catholic Church, Tignish on Friday, December 21 at 10:30am. Interment to take place in the church cemetery.
