SHARKEY, DONALD - Donald Andrew Joseph Sharkey passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1925 in Saint John he was the son of the late Andrew Gregory and Evelyn Annie (McDonald) Sharkey. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Peter Sharkey and infant sister Rita Evelyn Sharkey. Donald worked for the Saint John Dry Dock for 40 years. He will be missed by his sister Joan Sharkey; brother Robert Sharkey and many cousins.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations for family and close friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Catholic Church on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
