STEEVES, JEAN RUTH - 1943 - 2012 - Jean Steeves, of Riverview, passed away on Sunday December 16, 2012 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Irene (Law) and the late Charles Ermen. Besides her mother, Irene Colpitts of Penobsquis, Jean will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Roy; daughters, June Gallant (Steve), Corrina Steeves and Christal Scott, all of Moncton; sisters, Shirley Quinlan (Charlie) of Salisbury; Muriel Carpenter (Jimmy) of Penobsquis; brother, Wayne of Penobsquis, half brother, Roger Ermen of Hillsborough as well as her ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Jean was predeceased by her step father, Lloyd Colpitts, brother, Cedric Colpitts and three half brothers; Earl (Buddy), Charlie Jr and Walter Ermen.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, (869-2007) on Tuesday from 6 to 9. A funeral service will be held from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11am with Rev. Neville Gosman officiating.
