(July 22, 1924 - December 19, 2012). Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge, Carbonear, on Dec 19, Evelyn Hindy, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband Norman Hindy. Survived by 3 sons: David, Edgar (Shirley) and Martin Luther (Sharon); 1 daughter Norma Medford; 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 1 brother John Bailey. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Greens Funeral Home, Winterton on Thursday, Dec. 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, Dec 21 from 10 a.m. -12 noon. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St Lukes Anglican Church Winterton, with interment at St Lukes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
