ROBICHAUD, DALE "DUB" DONALD - (1960 - 2012) - REXTON, NB - It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Dale (Dub) Donald Robichaud on December 19, 2012 in Galloway at the age of 52. Dub will be sadly missed by his best friend and soul mate; Ronda, his son; Adam and his daughter; Courtney. He is also survived by his mother; Harriet, brothers; Carl (Barb), Greg (Nicole), Jeff (Crystal), sisters; Barb (Greg), Penny, Susan and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Dub was predeceased by his beloved grandparents; Earl and Bessie Walsh, his father; Donald Robichaud and his in-laws; Victor and Louise MacDonald. Dub was employed at Rockwood Transportation Ltd. for the last 12 years. Dub's trucking career began in 1987 with Sunrise Meats. He worked briefly for Fillmore Trucking and Timberline Transport. He was a friend to everyone he met, gave a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a mister fix-it, jack of all trades. For all who knew him, they knew how he loved to talk. When he traveled he could make conversation with anyone. Dub was a good son, husband, father, brother and most of all a good friend to many.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 1:00 pm, St. Andrew's United Church, Rexton. As per his wishes, an Irish Wake will be held at a later date. If so desired donations in Dub's memory may be made to the Richibucto Food Bank and would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
